Just thought I'd let everyone know here, I'm off the headphones for a bit. I don't think I'll be back to dedicated listening, but maybe for private listening when I don't want to disturb others... I just pulled out my old rig and set everything up in my room just like old times, and I'm even starting to enjoy some old LPs. Cinder block speaker stands and TT dampener.. The whole bit.
I just wanted to say that, while it lasted, I was really enjoying the sound headphones offered for the money, but it's in my blood to want to tweak and mess with things, and headphones limit this.
Back to home-brew speakers and good ol' tweaking measures.
And it really doesnt sound bad.
P.S. sealed dual 8 inchers have BALLs. Nothing like getting kicked in the chest by high speed air waves. One of the main things I missed with headphones.
