I just put back my X-Meridian in my computer and install the latest driver ...
What happend ... the sound is not as good as usual ... Humm ..
I put back the old driver 5.12.01.0008.17.8 and the sound is MUCH better.
Better dynamic, a lot larger soundstage ...
I suspect the latest driver to not bypassing really the mixer (Kernel streaming).
My old driver only support 24 bits Kernel Streaming and the latest support the 32 bits Kernel Streaming.
If you using the latest driver, I suggest you to install the xxx17.8 .. the sound is MUCH better and select in foobar 24 bits Kernel Streaming.
* No need to reboot ... you can switch back to latest and old (require only 60 sec install) and see by yourself.
