Hi friends! I recently purchased from a Head-Fier a WyWires Red headphone cable with XLR termination and Audeze connectors. Does anyone know if it is possible to have the connectors changed to MrSpeakers connectors, and where I could do it?
I sent him an email, but have not heard back. (Probably should have made that clear. Oy...) I was hoping someone had a simple-enough or obvious solution.
I didn't realize that was a thing. Can you be more specific what kind of adapter this would be? Is it something that would attach onto the mini xlr inputs that would allow you to attach the Hirose connectors?
Yessssir. The Wywires cables are amazing, and being able to use one cable with all of your headphones makes the value that much better. I think double helix and Norne do something similar. Hell I wasn’t sure if it was an option either until I asked Alex about it.
Just as an FYI... Make sure to send the message directly to Alex and not to the wywires general inbox. He responds very quickly in my experience to direct mail.
