Seems there are more people are "wanting to buy" then selling, but I thought I would give this a try anyway.

I would like to buy a good pair of the CD3000s (without any driver problems, of course.) I am serious about this...Please let me know if you have a pair you are willing to part with for a reasonable price - I can do PayPal, money order, personal check, etc..

I myself was considering posting a thread similiar to yours because I too am interested in purchasing a pair of these headphones. I did a search on the forum and it looks like there are almost as many WTB threads about these phones as there are FS threads. I know that's not too encouraging, but thought I'd mention it just the same. If you thread goes well maybe I'll post my own afterwards. In the meantime, Good Luck!

Thanks for the encouragement, aug1516. I bet I end up buying new, simply because I don't have the patience to wait!
Perhaps you'll have better luck...

saint.panda - Please pardon my ignorance, but I do not have a Euro to US$ converter. Is 288 Euros + shipping to the USA a good deal?? Is it less than the price at AudioCubes?

Also, I can not speak or write German, so don't really know how I would communicate with this guy on Amazon.de.

OakIris,

288 Euros = $340 US at today's exchange rate. So, it would be $59 cheaper than Audio Cubes. However, I wonder if shipping costs from Germany would eat up that savings. Shipping from Audio Cubes would only be about $12-13, I think.

D.

Thanks, Demolition. Shipping from AudioCubes is $19. I may give up on this WTB thread and just buy new from AudioCubes. (The only "USA" place to buy, it seems, is from Amazon.com - at over $600 + shipping!
) At least I'll be supporting Head-Fi by buying from one of our sponsers!

Having waited a whole 3 days
for a seller, I went ahead and ordered a new pair. I knew I wouldn't hold out for long.
