* PLEASE NOTE: JUST TO GET SOME KIND OF RESPONSE TO THIS AD, AND TO PROVE HOW SERIOUS I AM, I MIGHT EVEN TRADE MY PAIR OF DT880/600's THAT I BOUGHT BRAND NEW JUST 3 WEEKS AGO FROM B&H PHOTO + you pay me alittle $$$, FOR A PAIR OF THE 2003 MODEL DT880'S THAT I AM DESCRIBING BELOW...NOW, IS ANYBODY INTERESTED IN DOING A TRADE + SOME BOOT? *
I am looking for a pair of Beyerdynamic DT880/2003 model headphones for experimental purposes.
If they are in perfect working order, that is great.
If one or both drivers is blown or rattling, that is ok too.
If you have the stock 2003 headphones WITHOUT the drivers, that is ok as well.
The stock earcup housing must be in excellent condition, must be the 2003 housing, and the interior and exterior of the earcup/driver housing MUST be BONE STOCK, WITH NO damping or other modifications at all. Surface scratches on the outside of the earcups is ok, but I would prefer no dents. Very small dents would probably be ok.
The wiring must also still be totally intact and working, and the headband must still be present and in good shape. I would also greatly prefer that the earpads still be present, and in decent shape.
I want a pair so that I can remove the old drivers, if any, and install the latest 600 ohm drivers in the 2003 housings, and hear what kind of sonic results I get.
Will you help me with my experiment?
If you have a pair, PM me!
CONUS only please.
Thanks so much for your help!
