Would be amazing to have that, but do you think it would hurt the SQ? because it is going through the line out and there is probably crap in there the signal has to go through and might be affected.

not knowing the deifinite answer here, but i would definitely hazard a guess that it would indeed, at some low level affect the audio quality as its simply another junction between the source and your listening. and lets be honest a battery pack is not likely to be using audiophile grade components to lessen the potential degradation.

but on the other hand, the offered practicallity of that device, for some may be worth 'putting up with' in some situations, is very subjective as to whether it will noticeably affect the SQ, as that all depends on your ears and their perception.
