Would an AudioQuest - Dragon Fly Black be able to power a T50 mod sufficiently?

As the title states!

I'm also wondering if anyone has had the chance to compare the Black to the Red?
I'm mainly looking to power my Mod House Audio Argons.

Do you know the power output of the Dragonfly? I can't find specs anywhere but if you knew how much power it put out and how sensitive the T50 is then you could make a decent guess on how well the Dragonfly would drive them

1.2V for the Dragonfly Black and 2.1V for the Dragonfly Red

T50 sensitivity: 92Db at 1mW

How does one calculate if it's enough?

Here is everything that I could get:

Impedance: 50 ohm
Sensitivity: 92dB (at 1kHz, 1mW)
Frequency Response: 15Hz – 35kHz
Maximum Input Power: 3000mW

Ok, excellent. To reach 105db at 0dbfs (the absolute loudest sound that can be produced), you'll need 1.0v. This'll be just enough volume (being generous with a 10db buffer), listening at a pretty loud level, with modern, loud music, but not loud enough will really cranked-up volume (which I'd consider beyond a safe listening level). For quieter tracks with more dynamic range like classical or film scores, you'll need more power. With the 2.1v Dragonfly red, you'll get a bit more headroom (about 6 db or 1.5x as loud).

Edit: Note - this is only if the dragonfly can deliver 2.1v into 50ohms. Somebody please correct me on this if it say, only does so at a higher impedance. 92db headphones are relatively hard to drive

No prob :). Be sure to check the edit I just made in my above post, e.g. the dragonfly red might put 2.1v into 100ohm headphones but less than that into 50ohms (this isn't specified), so to be safe I definitely recommend going with the higher voltage model.

Agreed.
I was lucky enough to find one in the classified ADS used.

92db is not very sensitive so I'm not sure if it'll be a good match. I see people listing voltage measurements but I can't find any power measurements in mW. I don't understand why they wouldn't list that specification

Good luck!
