DUDE, you have nearly the same portable setup as I do! All you're missing is a mini3 amp
plus you haven't got your es7.. yet haha
IMO wait till you've heard the es7. The es7s sound great just driven straight out of my T10, however it does improve when I add in the mini3 into the equation, although the improvement isn't very drastic.
I usually only use my mini3 with my es7 when I'm studying at the library - hence being in a stationary place. But when I'm on the go and taking the bus etc, I just drive it out of my T10 - a LOT more portable and it still sounds great.

I'm in the minority that finds the ES7 pretty unlistenable without an amp. With an amp, it's a lot of fun. But I am an amped listener nearly 100% of the time, and no longer accustomed to unamplified sound. Most people do enjoy the ES7 without an amp.

There's certainly something about it. Amp makes them shine. From all headphones I have/had (sig) + HD600 + Denons D1001K, amped ES7 is by far my most favourite.
