contiplating upgrading is it worth picking up the HE 400s for 350?
worth upgrading from DT 990 pro 250 ohm to HE 400s

$350 is a good price for those. A lot of people love the HE-400 for it's mid bass and smooth sound. If you end up not liking it, you should be able to sell it for the same price here to someone. IMO you should go for it. The Hifiman and the Beyers are going to have completely different sound signatures, so it's worth giving it a try if it can satisfy your needs better. You'll never know otherwise!
