Seems interesting, what do you guys think:

Product Description Applications

The LM4910 is an audio power amplifier primarily designed for headphone applications in portable device applications. It is capable of delivering 35 mW of continuous average power to a 32BTL load with less than 1% distortion (THD+N) from a 3.3V DC power supply. The LM4910 utilizes a new circuit topology that eliminates output coupling capacitors and half-supply bypass capacitors. With its advanced pop & click circuitry, the LM4910 eliminates noises which would otherwise occur during turn-on and turn-off transitions. Boomer audio power amplifiers were designed specifically to provide high quality output power with a minimal amount of external components. Since the LM4910 does not require any output coupling capacitors, half-supply bypass capacitors, or bootstrap capacitors, it is ideally suited for low-power portable applications where minimal space and power consumption are primary requirements. National Outperforms the Competition Unlike National’s LM4880 or TI’s TPA102, TPA112 or TPA122, National’s LM4910 provides OCL technology with "Whisper" click & pop technology. This could save customers up to $0.50 per headphone application.

The LM4910 is ideal for any portable application. It’s particularly suited for headphone applications in:

Cellphones
CD’s
DVD’s
PDA’s
PC and IA markets

"This could save customers up to $0.50 per headphone application. "

WOW! I can see it now...

"Due to the newer chips we are using Headroom is proud to announce an immediate price reduction on the Blockhead! It's now $3332.50 a bargin for sure!!"

LOL! You'll note that "hi-fi audio" is NOT one of the reccommended applications... in my experience chips like these are used for say, the headphone stages of crappy Sony sports PCDPs... Not exactly BlocKhead material

But is *ANYTHING* truly audiophile quality? Isn't being an audiophile all about squeezing that last .00000000000001% out of a system?

The comment about the blockhead was a joke. I think we have a while before that thing gets re-engineered due to changes in technology.
