I have ShureSE215, they sound amazing. But the cord keeps going out on me. Im on my third cable in less than a year. The foam tips don't last long for me, and the silicone tips that came are very uncomfortable when i sweat and they slightly hurt.

Purchased Rock It R shields, for the price i wasnt expecting much. They block sound fairly well. But they sound like utter crap and my head is too big for them.

Im willing to spend up to 250 for IEMs or Headphones that 1.Are able to block 75-80 dogs barking, 2. Reasonably durable, 3.Sound great

I know im asking a lot but im around them for 10 hours a day when working. I enjoy listening to music. I don't want to crank the music up loud and make things worse and damage my hearing.

Thanks for any and all help folks :)

Bose QC15 sounds like it would be the best choice for you. While they're not the best sound, you're going to be happy you purchased them, as the NC is out of this world. Their sound isn't AWFUL, but it isn't superb. I'd give its sound a 7.0/10.0; its NC though? 11.0/10.0.
