Well I think I'd like to upgrade to the Audeze LCD XC, and to fund that I might give a hand at selling all of my current headphones :D

In addition to selling headphones, I'm also looking to purchase 2 Audeze Style Cables, as 2 of my headphones have Audeze Style Connectors, and I'd like not to sell my nice looking custom Cable >.>

Each Headphone has some mods done to it

HE 4 $550 [Shipped USA 48]

To start the HE 4 has Monkey Nutz Wood Cups
Audeze Style Earing Connectors
Beyer Pads and Headband
Hifiman HE 4 Carrying Case

Denon AHD 2k $ 600[Shipped USA 48]
Martin Custom Cocobolo Wood back Cups
Mark L Mods on Driver only
Lawton Audio Pads
BTG Midnight Balanced Cable

or all three for $1000

Also Included is two of the Headphone Stands if you really want them

I'd really like to hear the LCD 2 Fazor as well, and I'm open for a trade if any one is interested

I have not and I just found out a useful piece of information, that will most likely keep my headphones in my hands a little while longer.

That and there's not a whole lot of bite on them. I was hoping for some INTEREST but there's not much... but no I have not heard the LCD XC and if I had a serious set of buyers I would travel to demo the XC before I sold my current headphones

still... aside from "friends and lovers" there's not a whole lot of interest!

We all hear differently, etc, so that disclaimer aside, I was disappointed in the XC to the point of listening to them for about a half hour, switching to the D2000 and putting the XC back in the box.  Shipped them out the next day.  As gelocks said, #justsaying.

Just your friends looking out for you.  If you can test the XC do so.

the Fazor LCD 2 might need a lsiten as well... but if I was going to sell everything for ONE headphone it'd have to be a closed back

I really would say, instead of jumping to something like an LCD-XC which MIGHT be underwhelming (especially if you spend $1500...) you might want to look into:

1) Alpha Dogs
2) ZMF x Vibro (or heavily modded V1s)
3) Final Audio Pandora Hope VI
4) Fostex TH900
5) JVC HA-DX1000/700

All of them sound different, all of them have their respective pros and cons and to me, all are more exciting than the XCs...
And like Frank said, just looking out!
(and I'm pretty much sure you will definitely miss the liquid mids of your W1000x and the bass of the D2000s! :p)

WHOA Liquid Mids of the W1000x no no no! I modded mine, the W1000x is as sterile as a DT 880 in the mids, it's just very forward with it's sterile mids! ANd the reason I'd like the XC is one of the members of the W1000x club who modded his w1000x the same as mine [mines modded to remove a lot of the decay from the entire spectrum] liked how the XC was voiced

Still I might have a demo lined up, gonna cost me $60 in shipping but... :3

I was gonna offer to let you demo mine if you paid shipping. Glad you found one to demo though!

Good call! It would suck to sell all your awesome customs and dislike the new purchase. Even more, while the 60 dollar shipping sucks, you'd probably lose more if you bought the XC, disliked it, and had to return/resell it.

Good luck!
