An output impedance equal to the S3 and worse than the Note 2 is the last nail in iPhone coffin.

I see myself in a few months with a good sounding smartphone with 144 gigs of space and a few more bucks in my pocket that i went for an iPhone 5.

If you root the phone you can get the S3 to drive crazy good...it powers my 80 Ohm DT770´s with ease which is pretty amazing for a phone!

I use a custom EQ with a slight bump in mids and sub bass

yeah i use my k550 on like 1/3 vol with most songs pretty good and a big step up, will voodoo be better?.anyone use eargasm or just flat eq?

I used to be HUGE into EQing. But I found that introducing variations in the digital domain...caused me a bit of distress. I found that I liked the flavor of the music, but it increasingly felt like the ingredients were tainted, if you get the metaphor. The Pico DAC/Amp is quite neutral, so I find that the character of the music and the cans shines through much better when I maintain the neutrality all the way through the audio chain.

Having both the S3 and the Note 2, I think - given time, there is only going to be one winner (across the whole spectrum of facilities)...

...I think before too long I will be selling my S3, the Note 2 just does everything so well (not to mention that the screen is MUCH more watchable for those tedious train journeys...)

I can barely use the S3 with one hand...no way I could use the Note 2 at all haha

For those with big hands I can see why you would prefer it!

My hands aren't big, but honestly I hardly used my S3 one-handed, so a non-issue for me.

Is the audio settings in the siyah kernel, the same as it will be when Voodoo get upgraded to support the s3. I have only used it with my old LG optimus 2x, and it didn't have all the sound settings.

Anyone know if CM10 has properly implemented USB audio? I find it almost intolerable waiting for stock jelly bean like this...

US S3 works with the Apex Glacier portable and sounds really really good.

Stock Kernel? I'm interested now...
