NOS Stax Lambda Professional Earspeakers
And matching class A amplifier SRM-1MKII

Color: Black. Condition: Just burnt in(according to some not even burnt in) These headphones look just like new like when I bought them (new) a month ago.

These headphones are extremely detailed and have deep bass, deeper than Senn HD580/600. Everything sounds very crisp with them. They are semi-panoramic earspeakers and their soundstage is really wide and layering.

The set used to retail well over $1000. Check Shivohum’s comparative reviews for these headphones at the review section of head-fi.

I was thinking of sticking with only one pair of high-end headphones (the HD580s which I really like)

Anyone interested in those earspeakers pm me with the price you want to buy the headphones. I will pay shipping to wherever you live and I will consider your serious offer.

This system can save you from upgrading amps and headphones as it includes a high end amp and headphone set that will probably outperform(in most cases) the rest of your system leaving many other things to be upgraded first. And also be aware that too much detail can be really annoying with bad recordings and the Lambdas may ruin the enjoyment you used to have by some of your favorite records. Expect to hear clearly for example the increase of the hiss when a vocal track comes in. But I guess with excellent recordings there is nothing that can beat the Lambdas in detail.

The amp runs at 110V as well as at 220V by changing some jumper settings . It has a ground connection on the back as well as RCA inputs (gold plated iirc) and a split (L-R) pot (ALPS) to set the balance of the two channels.

Reasonable offers! I am reasonable too , I don't want a fortune for this setup.

Don't forget this is a combo headphones+amp.

If you'd set a price I'd know if it was an option

right now I was considering a RS-1/unspecified-tube-amp combo, but if the price were right I might be interested

I have decided to put them back for sale. Can some mod please remove the (WITHDRAWN, and 1month month used-since some time has passed since then)

So anyone who is interested in this like new STAX system just PM me. The price is $550. I want these to go quick to buy myself some speakers.

For this price you cannot get a better headphone-amplifier combo.

Thanks people! (and sorry for the trouble again mods!)

btw the price of $550 includes shipping to anywhere in the world. The headphones work both at 110V as well as 220V.

Did I mention the headphones come with their box and manual brochure etc..?
