Has anyone used these and what was the better sounding cable? I am also *considering* the AQ Diamond TOSLINK but am more interested in the two mentioned in the post name. I currently have the AQ Carbon TOSLINK but am looking to upgrade to one of these.

How do you like the Supernova 7?

I like it a lot. Much better than Hugo2 stock toslink. Also, better than Curious, Supra or AQ Cinnamon USBs.
Max transmission rate is 172kHz, not 192. But IMO it doesn't matter.
It has black background, precise positioning. More lows in terms of quantity. Mids are nice. Highs are clear but not highly exposed. I switched Hugo2 from orange to white filter (brighter) with Supernova 7 to expose highs better.
It is never harsh. Sounds analog-like. Butterly smooth. No digital noise/harshness, just instruments.
