Thinking about buying some Logitech z5450 speaker system with powered DD5.1 processor. The REAR speakers are WIRELESS!

Now, my question is - how does this work? My GUESS is that you put BATTERIES in the speakers? Is this right? If so, how long would they even last (the batteries).

Also, is there any sound/performance degredation because they are "wireless". Any quality loss at any time?

Just took this from their product page:

"96kHz audio streams are re-sampled to 48kHz in the rear channels only." That doesn't sound good even though I don't know what it really means.

They still have a wire connected to the power outlet in your room or whatever. The resampling isn't really something you want. The z-5500's are more powerful and probably more like what your looking for. I haven't read that good of things about the 5450. Wireless headphones aren't that great, not sure about speakers.
