Fail for me. Not exactly wireless is it? Make a wireless headphone. Not just splice in a BT cable. Redesign the housing and incorporate everything into it. Headphones have an edge since they are a little bigger and can have controls on the cup like this small new Edifier BT model...
This can skip the little three button remote and have separate volume and FF/RW to lose the multiple pressing thing and have more and better control. Plus you have two decent size units on that cable to bounce around and be annoying.
They can try harder and do better than this. Also worried since their bigger recent BT539i only gets 12 hours and seems to not have any aptX. Are we talking single digit battery and SBC performance?
I would take a Porta Pro or KPH30i and have it modded to MMCX instead. Then use from a choice of BT cables out there and also have wired option.
