Hi,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm looking for wireless IEM mostly for gym workout (and occasional outdoor running). I would like to stay under $200. After some initial research, I am considering between these two:

  1. Jaybird X3
  2. Bose Soundsport Wireless

Which one of this will provide best possible sound quality. Are these any other wireless IEM I should consider?

Thanks.

Between those two, I'll go with jaybird. Wireless IEMs are decent at best. I'll suggest you look at wired IEM (shure SE215 my fave one) then pair it with dedicated bluetooth dongle (think noble bts).

Still ard $200 with superior SQ. Granted they're not as convenient as pure wireless IEM, bur superior at nearly everything else.

Thanks. I think I'll go with Jaybird x3. New iPhone is making it very difficult to go with wired headphones, specially for someone like me who keeps forgetting small dongles/adapters all the time.

I would go with the Airpods if I were you.

You might also check out the Pugz. They could work for you. Sound is decent, for wireless.

Steer clear of Pugz, complaints all over Kickstarter and they backed out of their iPhone charging support.

I have been wanting to see a review of the V-Moda Forza Metallo Wireless for some time now.

They are not available for order yet. But they seem promising... Perhaps worth the wait?

Has anyone tried the Sony XB80BS?
