I’m thinking of buying some wireless headphones and just wanted some recommendations to get my hunt on the way. At least initially I’ll mainly be pairing these with my soon to come DX200 and I also might pick a cheap Fiio X1 for when one the move sometimes.

I listen to all sorts including a lot of drum & bass, metal and electronic music.
I would prefer something portable that can be folded and packed away.
Budget is up to about £300

Sound signature wise I prefer them maybe slightly bass heavy or maybe even neutral.
Also is anyone aware of any wireless planar magnetic headphones?

Thanks

The HD 1 Momentum 2 ,Being Bluetooth and the RS Sennheiser wireless series is beamed through a transmitter, still can anyone compare for me the audio quality? In the past Bluetooth was known to be the lesser audio HD. And today with the HD 1?? Thanks.

I know these are over ears, but def check out the sony MDR950.
Wireless and from a fellow Drum and Bass lover, they do the trick!

I like the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless but they're definitely an acquired taste. Very bass heavy with lots of slam - both wired and wireless. Not the last word in detail, resolution or even accuracy but I love them when I wear them outside. Don't fold though - might be an issue for you.
