Hi! I would like an Equalizer that will filter sound from every program, since there are many I use that do not have their own equalizers, yet my setup requires some tweaking in this regard. Is there any program/utility available, or is my only choice going to be a hardware solution?

Hi, first off, do you have a soundcard or an onboard solution? If onboard (ie Realtek AC'97), make sure you have the latest codec and drivers. Then go to Control Panel and then click on Multi-channel Sound Manger. There should be an equlizer tab.
