Audio shops in town (alphabetically):

Advance Electronics
Altitudo Audio
American HiFi
Brian Reimer Audio
Creative Audio

Huh I never realized how they're all A B C's.

For restaurants, we have lots... you gotta narrow down a category. Clementines is great for a brunch place. Asoyama is my favourite for sushi (but why go for sushi when you're about as far from the ocean as you can possibly be?).

Since I am really just poping over for a bit, I figured I would only bring my Music Hall amp and probably my V7s as they are my best frankenphone without eq. Would any body want anything else. For example anyone bringing headphones that need a power amp? My Crown D45/75s tap the headphone output straight off the speaker circuit.

Thank you for the list! I guess, I believe it was invented there, a good place to get Ginger Beef?

Not Winnipeg specifically, but yes ginger beef is a Chinese-Canadian thing:

That said... I never actually order that dish. Truthfully I very rarely go out to eat Chinese except with my family. Some random suggestions (though I don't know if they have ginger beef specifically): Sun Fortune, Logan's Corner, Victoria Seafood, Ding Ho. But the quality at Chinese restaurants is highly variable and may depend on who's working that day.

Thanks again for the recommendations!

I'm late to catch up, but it sounds like only a couple of people can actually make it this time. Should we make plans for Chinese food another time instead, since it seems there's greater interest in food than audio this time 🤔

We've got myself, @ecwl, @Viper2005, @Progisus and @rifi
A maybe with @Beefy, @Rubin
Sometimes a wildcare like @Velomane shows up, but he's usually working overtime near the holidays.

So that's 5-7 people for a decent showing.

I don't think I'll be able to make it, unfortunately. Little one going to a kid's birthday event is making the day incredibly difficult.

Freaking kids, man.

Hey Guys,

Looking forward to my first meet and greet. I’ll bring my daps and iem’s. See my sig. I’ll bring some extra tips and alcohol wipes but feel free to bring any specific tips you have. I’ll also bring some Teflon tape for tip sizing issues. Also I’ll bring some sdcards with pggb’d files for the poly/mojo2. This will give upscaling guys a sample of gadzillion taps.
