It might, depending on the speaker or headphone. Difficult for anyone to say with certainty.

The headphones are the Sennheiser HD 439. The volume wasn't extremely high (30, but it's not very loud) and it wasn't for long.
Would it always be noticeable when the headphones are damaged?
