i currently have the he1000 v2 along with other totl headphones (utopina, sony z1r, hd800S). the he1000v2 are special to me because it can do something that others can and the sound is almost perfect for my listening preference. I am curious to find out how Susvara can be even better then the he1000v2. maybe it can be my mundus imaginalis? :p

Is there really a better headphone than my HE-6? Hmmm, I'd sure like to find out! Let's see if SUSVARA is as rewarding when properly powered and where the journey takes us.

I want a Susvara because of the legacy it carries with it, the amazing sound that only Hifiman planars can reproduce, the successor to the venerable HE-6. I think it'd be a dream come true to be able to own a TOTL planar like such, and nothing else I know can come close (except the Shangri-La, but that's not gonna be given away so easily, right fellas?) :)

Hey, it would be nice to have a SUSVARA here.
Hifiman is a completely unknown brand in my country.
I'm sure I can help with that.

I haven't purchased any new headphones since 2005, have never heard a Hifiman product....and I've never even heard a planar headphone!

Plus, those are some sharp looking headphones. I need all the aesthetic help I can get.

First of all, Thank you! Second, while I may not have the experience of many here on the forum, I certainly appreciate music and high quality reproduction. These would certainly be the best set of cans I would ever own!

Because I owned most legacy Hifiman daps, headphones, iems and amplifiers : HE400, HE6, HE500, RE400i, RE600, HM601, HM700, HM802, HM801, HM901, EF2A, EF5
I tested HM901S and HE560 in meetings
I just got a HE1000V2 (loaner) but I will have to save for a while before reaching the potential to purchase it. I don't know how the Susvara sounds, but looking forward to hear it (and maybe own it) as I'm already in love with the HE1000V2

I am a 19 year old who just got into this hobby about six months ago and would love to own a top of the line headphone to really experience my favorite jazz artist Charles Mingus! (Favorite Album: Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus)

Good luck to all who enter!
