Hi,

My (diy) subwoofer amp has an RCA input called LFE. At the moment I use a very cheap and thin cable that goes to my receiver's subwoofer out. Sound is good, but if that cable is touched a bit, it makes crazy sounds, probably because I use an extender and the connection there isn't perfect, so I finally purchase a long enough cable (10ft), but now after it's shipped I noticed it says "Digital coaxial", while I thought it was RCA because it looks absolutely the same. Is it actually a different type of cable? Is it not meant for analog signals?

Here's the cable:

I used the 75ohm cable on every 2-conductor RCA connection in my set up before - from CDP to DAC to amp to subwoofer, made from a section off a spool of Belden cables that a local store was selling by the meter.
