Will my Denon AVR-e300 drive a pair of beyerdynamic 880's (250 ohm)?

I cannot find a headphone impedance specification anywhere for my AVR-e300 and was wondering if it would drive a pair of beyer 880 250 ohms.

Probably not at it's best.
Usually AVR headphone sockets are cheaply made, just an additional add on.

Would it be worth it to buy a separate headphone DAC and Amp? I didn't think so because I already had the receiver...

The Denon should be able to drive 250-Ohm headphones.
What sources are feeding the Denon?

I would assume that HDMI (from the PC's graphics card to the Denon) would provide the best sound quality.
For your current hardware

An Asus Xonar DX or D1 sound card (used $50), running analog from the Asus to the analog inputs on the Denon, should provide even better audio quality and be able to use the Xonar's Dolby Headphone 7.1 surround sound.
