Hi,
I own the MR816 X by Steinberg and was wondering whether the interface will hold the AKG K701?
They say it's a good headphone amp, and it does sound good with my ATH-M50s, but I'm not experienced enough to judge.

The specs are in here.

It seems it could load 75mw at 40 ohms, but i'm not sure I know what it means.

Any advice?

I don't think that's going to have the power output to properly drive the 701's. You might try it and disagree. I think my 701's sound pretty good out of my Behringer XENYX 802, but I definitely prefer my Little Dot MKIII to the Behringer. Hopefully some others with a bit more experience will chime in.
Good luck and welcome to Head-Fi.
