I got 3 pairs of those Vic Firth drummer cans and did a mod to one set using a peltor ear muff kit to change the band from the top to streetstyle

Actualy they needed new pads and it was cheaper to buy the peltors complete for $6. then to pay $12. for a new pad kit. The behind the head band on the peltors make them good for wearing a helmit or a hard hat.

I wonder wich would be better? stock with the band on the top or with the band behind. Since i have the hardware for both i wonder what would you use?

well the KSC need to be open so being closed they rob some of the bass, but being in these high isolation cups it kinda makes up for it i guess. They go a little louder stock but they sound really thin stock. Least with the KSC drivers they sound more full. You could actualy use them to listen to music with now but stock i dont know what they would be good for? a click track maybe?

The stock drivers have a very thick diaphragm, they are very stiff. Thickest one ive seen so far.
