When using a TLE2426 rail splitter for a cMoy power stage, why is a capacitor placed in parallel? I suspected it could be removed, so I temporarily pulled the 1000uF cap from my breadboard test amp and nothing happened. The music kept playing just as vibrantly as before.

I don't see why dual caps are necessary in the typical resistor divider configuration either.

What's going on??
