Why So Many E500 Threads But So Few Triple Fi Pro Threads?

It sure seems that way to me? E4 and Super Fi Pro seemed to have about the same amount of threads and these are the next step ups for both companies.

It seems most like the E500 for rock and hip hop and Triple Fi's more for jazz and classical.

Perhaps that's the reason...rock and hip hop is more popular. Yet Ety's are so popular here....not exactly the premier IEM's for rock and hip hop.

Not really sure, but you are right.

A few reasons (maybe)

I think the trip10 has not been all that available . . . like hard to find for a while.

This forum does not really seem to like the UE x.fi series all that much. I am new here, but I think they were flavor of the day a long time ago and have faded. They are not very small and often are not comfortable, and I think that has a lot ot do with it. UE did not change the physical design for the trip 10 and I am sure that turned a lot of potential buyers away.

As much as the UE10 is considered the gold standard, I would think there would be more love for the trip 10, but you just never know.

e500 is still really hot here . . . in a year you never know.
