Hi there, I've got a Ifi Zen and I'd like to try the 4.4mm pentacon imput. Why is that hard to find any 4.4mm balanced to 3.5mm cable/adapters???

Why one of the most famous cable makers such as Hart Cable have ALL their cables ended in 4pin mini male...???

I dont understand at all...

Anyone has an idea of some 4.4mm balanced to 3.5mm non balanced connectors??

I'm also interested to find 2.5mm balanced to 3.5mm non balanced connector for my cowon plenue D2.

Thanks and peace.

I recently ran into this problem too. I found some 4.4mm to 3.5mm and 2.5mm to 3.5mm from PWaudio. You can find them here:

https://shop.musicteck.com/collections/adapter

I have the 4.4 to 3.5, 4.4 to 2.5, 2.5 to 4.5, 2.5 to 3.5, and the Hugo 2 4.4mm RCA adapter. All are very good and high quality. They might cost you more than you want though, so be warned

So...how can I enjoy the 4.4mm balanced pentaconn with my 3.5mm non balanced headphone jack???

Likewise, How can I enjoy the 2.5mm balanced input with the same headphones?? It has to be some way, isnt it???

Or do I have to settle for not using balanced inputs...???

Thanks

Oh, I see what you want now (I was thinking you wanted the opposite). It's my understanding that there is no way to convert an unbalanced connector into a balanced one. You can only convert a balanced to an unbalanced

So, How Can I do it?? Do I have to change all the headphone cable??
Yeah, exactly. You'll have to buy 4.4mm terminated headphone cables.
