Why doesn't anyone remember?

Why doesn't anyone remember the Electrovoice Headphones from the early 1970's? They came with a built in 25 foot coiled cord (the first to do so) and came in bright colors of green, blue yellow and red. They covered the whole side of the head and had a four inch speaker and large volume control knobs on each grapefruit sized cup. I've been looking in flea markets for years, but it seemes that they and the memory of them has dropped off the Earth!

A google search for elevtrovoice takes you to the website, where there's a "discontinued products archive". If you have a model number, you could find them in there. That would at least give a datasheet for them.
