Why does Head-Fi logo have HD650 on it?

Just wondering why Head-Fi logo have HD650 on it? The folks who decided it have to have had a reason...

Wow, I didn't know it made a five either...... just noticed one day the old logo got a pair of headphones and earphones put on it....

Now it actually makes sense though.
