in my room i find my headphones to be perfect, im building a high budget home theatre in Australia (i may throw a decent stereo amp in there) Atm headphones dont disturb my family, sound amazing and stop the neighbours from complaining.

I've just come to prefer it.

I've discussed this at length. It started because:

(a) I need isolation (most of my environments are noisy);
(b) I listen to weird music (don't want to submit my neighbours to noise);
(c) don't care about soundstage;
(d) don't have to worry about the sweet spot.

But at this point, I've just gotten used to it, and come to prefer it.

Because I live in an apartment building and can't have loud music on past 9PM.
