Hi, as most of you know, I currently don't really believe in cables. However, I am opened minded to seeing the other side. Where can I read on why aftermarket cables make a difference?

(BTW, this is a flame free post. I am not argueing with you guys ON whether or not they do make a difference)

I have heard that the Cardas site is a good place to start, so I will look there. However, I am a little wary of getting facts from a company that makes cables, for the obvious conflict of interest.

Thanks Ebon,

But I was looking for more measurement/scientific stuff.

And yes...I did read the article on Cardas site about not trusing measurements.

try aa's cable asylum and jon risch, steve eddy and audioengineer (steve nugent from empirical audio)'s discussions on design, theory, and measurements. lots of info there, but be prepared since those guys get in deep with this stuff (look for the content of their words instead of the language used... that'll make sense once you search the archives

Well orpheus...Davy seems to NOT believe in them, so it was not the "other side" argument I was looking for, but thanks anyway.
