Why Did These RS1s Sell For So Much?

Holey crap! I saw those 2 days ago, started at $400. No idea why they went so high - good possibility that the money will never be collected I'd bet. Primo used RS-1's usually go between $475 - $550 with original box and everything.

The buyer even lives in the US. I guess as the saying goes, "A fool and his money are soon parted."

The simplest explanation is usually the right one.

I might have agreed with you, if you had said it in Latin.

Yeah. Getting back on track here. I follow ebay listings of headphones a lot. This is the most expensive I have seen an RS1 go for from a US based seller. I see very high prices from non US sellers, but they never seem to sell. You have to think that if a person is bidding on these phones, they must know how much they cost new, so something is definitely off here.
