p.s. i stuck this in the member's section since i figure it may generate a bit of a conversation, which of course is a no-no in the for sale section.

p.s.s. anybody else think that those don't look so "brand new in box" ?

Hehe, if he had posted that here we would have had to crucify him for it.

Some advice:
There is only 1 feedback listed, this will require much caution/research by potential buyer, especially since seller wants money order.

Insist on speaking to seller by phone and ask the questions that must be asked to verify the trust worthiness of this seller, if something doesn't feel right walk away.

Make sure seller knows how to properly package these very expensive headphones for problem free shipping, and of course use delivery verifacation and insurance.........don't cheap out on shipping, you will be sorry!

Not sure if this means anything but he is selling several other Sony products at Ebay all ending 1st week of Janurary

Interesting auction and even more interesting circumstances surrounding it. Thanks Darkangel for the fine sleuthing. Buyers beware.

If you look beside his name there are shades that signify that he has been on ebay for less than 30 days or recently changed his name. His only feedback is as a buyer. As DarkAngel warned beware and be sure before you send any money.

Warning signs for me are MO/cashier's check only in a no feedback seller. Hmmmm...

Wonder if he'll make his reserve??

Thanks for the warning DarkAngel! When I first looked at the sellers name, I mistook the 1121 as his rating, not as just part of his name. I'll pass on these myself.

Someday the cosmic forces will align, I'll find a trustworthy seller, and I'll get a pair of these. It always seems that I miss out on these when they do come up. Usually by a few hours. Someday.

Huh, still no buyers. Has anyone tried e-mailing this guy?

And I mean, heck, this guys in Hawaii. If he doesn't send the phones, we can count on Vertigo to . . .

I emailed the seller He has 2 units serial #s 0055 & 0069 never used old stock inventory, I bought Kshafts r10s serial # 1068 produced 2002, so these are older r10s that are on ebay .

Those serial numbers would likely be from the first year of production, 1989 (mine is 0013).

13 years old and unused?? Don't think so. Would touch these cans even if I had the money to do so!!!!!! Everything about this sale says scam. Although I honsetly hope someone here gets them for a good price and the deal comes thru for them!!!
