IMO dont bother gold isn't as good a conductor as silver or copper. only bragging rights AFAIK the gold is normally used to stop corrosion and really is inferior as a conductor. Some say it has a euphonic type SQ but to be honest I haven't tried pure gold silver/gold works nicely though. of course it may be amazing and i'll eat my words then if you can afford it and are willing to take one for the team then go for it
