Do they give out free samples?

j/k. Sounds like fun, and I would LOVE to go myself, but it's just not possible. Maybe I will schedule a return to the states around CES or something one year.

I am planning on being there. Need to get off my ass and reserve my room. (Last VSAC I had to take a suite as all the regular rooms were gone. Made me feel important, but cost too much!)

I enjoyed it. Three days of pure Audio Geekdom!

Isn't there a second hotel in Silverdale, just down the road from the official VSAC venue? If the official venue is full, you might want to try that one. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I'm going sailing with someone from Silverdale tomorrow, and I'll ask about it.

(bump)

Made my reservation for Sat night at the Poplars Motel, a couple blocks from the VSAC show. (Look like the Red Lion is full up allready- a good sign!) So I will defineatly be at the show. I may try to make it up for friday also, but I don't know yet.

Anyway, any HeadFi'ers- First beer is on me, if you make it to the show. If you want to get in touch while up there drop me a pm or e-mail. I am hopeing to see some of you at the show.

I envy those who are able to attend. Some of the best DIY and commercial talent around plus seminars.

Any hopes I had of attending have quickly disappeared. Too many surprises at work have put me behind and jury duty on top of that will further complicate my schedule and will probably prevent me from having any kind of vacation between now and the end of the year. I'm planning on putting an extra 30 hours or so in on this Labor Day weekend just to hold my ground.

I'll bet Gary Dahl will be there with his Espressivo since VSAC is in his neighborhood. Maybe he will even have a commercial version ready. And Doc B is supposed to be working on a surprise project for the show. I was hoping it would be another version of his studio or reference headphone amp, but I'll have to wait and read the reports to see what he is working on.

I hope you guys start a thread on the show so the rest of us can get the lowdown!
