AGREED! American Football is just weird. You get all these "buff" & "strong" men running around in idon'tknowwhat gear shouting and roaring like they're the kings of the jungle when they score a touchdown. And yet, they're nothing more but rugby with what you said, children's protection gear.

I used to play pick up soccer/football everyday after class. Rain/shine/or snow. I always played Defense or Mid. Some of the best times of my life were spent on the soccer field. Ahhh memories...
