Like Canman, I used Cardas Neutral reference cables as well for my CD23. I had two of the CD23's at one time, so my other system was using Virtual Dyanmics Audition interconnects. I enjoyed both of these cables with this player. I also had a pair of Harmonic Tech Pro Silways that I tried on this player, but this player is a little on the bright side and didn't pair well with this cable.

Since you're in China, you may want to try the Xindak FA-2 interconnects. I have a pair that I'm trying out now. They're not bad- a little heavy on the bass, but very neutral sounding mids and highs. Even though they contain silver, there is not even a hint of brightness to this cable.
