I'm getting my pa2v2 soon and i'm wondering which would sound better?

1. Carbon -> headphone out -> pa2v2 -> hf-1
2. Nano -> pocket dock (line out) -> pa2v2 -> hf-1

I don't have a nano so i can't compare. I'm wondering if the nano would sound better though.

Also, does a cardas mini to mini improve the sound quality over the stock ones?

Thanks,
Nab

I think the Rio carbon is rumored to have a decent headphone circuit... Might not notice much of a difference with the PA2V2 ????

Also, the Nano is so small that amping it might be logically redundant. I would vote for amping the Carbon (for reasons other than pure sound quality).

IME, not by a large extent. It is a nice cable tho, very flexible and the right angle plugs kick butt. I wrote a "disappointed" thread, but have since drastically changed my mind on that one.
