Hello!
I am new to this forum but I've already read some articles related to headphones I'd like to buy.
My preference is mostly sound quality but also it is important features that headphones have.
As I mostly work in a quiet environment in my home, neither I live in a city, I do not really care a lot about ANC feature.
My current gear is WH1000XM4, which i bought time ago, and Logitech g733 headphones.
XM4 are great sounding headphones, but if you speak with someone via skype\discord\teams, the rest of the sound are not working. Simply said, the headphones and the microphone does not work simultaneously. Also their microphone does not work in passive mode. It means that I have to use g733 headphones when I speak with someone. By the way, do all headphones have the same issue??
Mostly I've been using XM4 wired and passive mode, unless I go to walk to a forest.
G733 does have good sound but not so good (deep) as XM4, but I can use microphone and still listen sounds \ music.
I decided to upgrade my gear, and I stopped with following headphones:
- T+A Solitare T
- Dali iO-12
- Beoplay H100
- Your recommendation, which I could miss.
I must say that I never tried them in real life, as they are not sold locally. All information I got is from reading forums.
Unfortenately H100 does not have passive mode, it is not so critical but it would1 be great feature. I do not know how do they sound, but as I read here, they are loosing to iO12 and ST. But I still discovering them.
I like how iO-12 are built. They seems to be very reliable as I use headphones for 6+ hours daily. I do that they have good soundstage, even better then in ST, and mostly they are great for their price tag. As i understood they have some issues in passive mode, but how bad it is if they will be used 50\50 passive\wireless?
ST gives very good and natural (analytical) sound and very good passive mode, but I am afraid about hidden issues about them.
I do not have any prefered genres in music, I just listen what I liked to
Which would you recommend me?
Thanks in advance.
