Hi

I have an Audio Analogue Puccini,hand crafted,2 x 40 W @ 8 W / 1kHz / 115 VAC -230 VAC ,sound a little bit like a tube one...i love it.
My B&W DM 602 S3 don't pair very well with the Puccini,so i need another solution around same budget. What do you think in your own opinion about: Monitor Audio bx2, Epos Epic 2 , Tannoy Mercury V4 , Monitor Audio BX5 and Rega RS3

Thanks in advance:)

I'm a big fan of Monitor Audio, the BX2 are a good value. I also like the RX6 for if you can swing the cost and go full-size (a bit more than the Tannoy, but I think worth it).

it might be worth saving, and get something a little better, instead of something a little different.

if you can, audition also speakers from PSB, Paradigm, Totem. a pair of Totem's Dreamcatcher will kick the B&W's a**, imo.

Btw, will be helpful to know you budget threshold, what genre of music do you prefer and where are you located?

In Europe it's probably most dealers carry European company speakers.

It's kinda of impossible to say which speaker to get.
It really comes down to liking brighter or a more polite speaker. And bookself or tower.
But taking your amp to a store and trying it with speakers is probably the best way to go about it if possible.

With the recent price cuts I think for European speakers at the price and value they have Mordaunt Short is one to really look into.
I just heard some Mordaunt Short Avianos was blown away by just how good they sounded and the pair I heard was brand new the manufacture asks you to be patient and give them time to burn in.
So I wonder just how much better they can get.

Monitor Audio is the 2nd most popular European speaker company just behind B&W but I always hear more praise for Monitor Audio.
