Title. Planning to buy some cans in the future... using this as a ref.
And yes, I know they have a different type of sound, but just asking for opinions.

I mainly listen to light j-metal or j-rock. The occasional j-pop.

hd497 has been discontinued. The eh350 replaced the hd497 and is suppose to be a little better. hd485 might also be a good alternative. Don't know about the eh350 but I enjoy my hd485 a lot more than my sr60s. Even for rock.
