Bose companion 2 series ii multimedia speakers: www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/bose-companion-2-series-ii-multimedia-speaker-system-40274/10078651.aspx?path=6212b45ea6d99983e0b0b002ef4e0d5fen02

Or the logitech z523 : www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/logitech-z523-2-1-channel-computer-speaker-system-980-000319/10129932.aspx?path=05160ab3326babfd70641be402ab4024en02

My gf likes bass but equally likes crisp, sharp, and higher sound quality in speakers. I'm assuming the bose has better quality speakers but lacks the punch of bass from the logitech subwoofer. Could you buy or use a separate sub for the bose? Could you hook it up to any subwoofer lying around? Thanks guys

why not get some decent powered monitors instead?
the $1-200 area has some pretty good budget options.

I know there are some Fostex pm0.4 used for  $125 on amazon. those are quite good. im not sure if they would suit your bass requirement, though.

You should focus on not double posting, instead edit your previous post.

Anyway, bestbuy charges retail on all their stuff, just saying.

i haven't heard any of those
but i do have a logitech dock to charge my ipod
it sounds okay. its a very fun sig. actually
so id go with the logitech :)
they own ultimate ears. so they aren't terrible.

I cant stress this enough though
powered monitors would be better. although i understand the bestbuy giftcard thing.
hope i helped.

well they have KRK's at Best Buy, but those will probably be way out of your budget at 300$ per speaker. They also have the Audioengine A2's which i think are supposed to be bassy, though i've never heard them. Those are around 200$ for a pair. This is off the canadian site by the way.
