I put all of them in the poll, but for me I'm more interested about how people place the ps1000 vs ps1/hp2. I've done some searches but couldn't find a poll that was recent.

Price is not relevant - judge entirely on sound -

For me it is:

1)HP1/2/3
2)PS-1
3)PS-1000
4)SR325(early black/pink drivers version)
5)HF-2

-3 and 4 can swap, depends on my mood.

-Haven't heard the MS-2

-Maybe the Magnum can be on the list too.

I think you should differentiate between SR325, SR325i, and SR325is.

And MS2 vs MS2i.

And then, weren't the HF-1's metal too?

HF-1 are plastic and wood.

Sonically the PS1000, but as it cost 3-4 times as much as it is worth IMO, I chose the solid MS2.

It really depends on your sound signature preferences. For those of us who like neutral transparency, the HP-1000 (HP-1/2/3) is tops. Bassheads like the PS-1.

The rest are a step down. The PS-1000 just isn't worth it. I've had a couple of short listens and found very little compelling about them. If they were $400 or $500, I might buy a pair. Good, but nothing special. The MS-2 is pretty good and I considered buying one, but I like the HF-2 better. The 325 is OK, but I could never find a compelling reason to buy one.

Voted MS-2, something about the slightly less aggressive 325 flavor just made it seem more lush to me because the treble blended with the mids better than the 325 did

metal Grado's I've tried were MS-2i, SR325i and HF-2. From these 3, HF-2 was clearly the winner IMHO

The HF-2 is really the only Grado I've liked/want to own. Not my style for the most part, but man the HF-2 was impressive.
