I am trying to decide between the two and was wondering which is less tiring on the ears in terms of sound fatigue. Thanks in advance.

What's your source? Are you using them straight from an Ipod or computer? I haven't heard the SR80s, but I don't find the SR60s fatiguing. Please keep in mind I only have been using them on my HR Microstack and haven't really tried them on just an Ipod. But, this is me. Some people find the Grado sound can be fatiguing, but I love the Grado sound and I don't find them fatiguing. On that same note, my listening level isn't that loud IMO. It's around 75 - 80 db when measured with my SPL. What I noticed is that the louder you listen to any can, especially the Grados since they sound brighter than my HD650s and AKG701s is that your ears will get fatigued.

It also depends on the recording. A lot of modern rock recordings especially are very hot and loud which will cause fatigue faster then a well recorded album on any headphones.

To my ears, the SR-60s provide a bit warmer, less detailed, less fatiguing sound than the SR-80s. The stock "comfy" pads of the SR-60s, as opposed to the bowl pads of the SR-80s may have something to do with the differences.
Hope this helps.

IMHO they are both similar in that regard. I would have a hard time saying one is more fatige-ing than the other, even though they sound very different.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards getting an SR80 because of how the bowl pads look. The comfies looks so.. cheap..
