Which is better M50 or MS400

I found some phaiton MS 400 for around $180, so Ive been debating between the ath m50 and the MS400...

 

I would use them with my laptop, ipad, and android phone...  

 

I just need a nice headphone to work in the design studio with, but I cant not bother those working around me...

Also, Im trying to compare, the bass, the genre of music( I listen to rap, dubstep, electronic, and alternative like miike snow and vampire weekend).

 

 

So I was wondering what your guys opinion on durability, cost, sound, and portability between these headphone are...

 

Also, how do the astro a40's compare to these?

Ill probably get an amp later on because they will be first nice set of headphones
