headphone+amp or 300 dollar headphone?


Which one will produce the best sound quality? ( This is assuming I wont be getting an amp in the future if i purchase the 300 dollar headphone.

headphone + amp for sure.

there isn't really a headphone over 200$ that doesn't really need an amp. The a900ltd may be the only exception.

With as much as you post here and as many topics as youve made (and hopefully read through) you should know better than to post something so darn vague.
Thats like saying, "Ok Im gonna buy a car, whats better, new tires or a different car?" You make no mention of the car and tire combo vs. just the straight car.

In that instance Ill go with yella. Amp + 580 would (more than likely) beat out anything youd look at in the $300 range.

I still dont like such sweeping generaltizations but you seem to demand them (often).
