I like C too. But, personally, I would not have table space for these. I'll just stick a nail in the office wall and use it

Wichever stand you use you should put some padding on the hook in order to avoid putting nicks and scratches on your hd650s headband.

Oh well, my Senns are very happy now, they can choose between cold steel and a nice warm maple stand from Todd

I went to BBandB today to return the B stand. Looks like they had a huge shipment in. Apparently they have like 10 of the C now... if anyone wants them mailed... I'm your man!

I use these in conjunction with my headphone holder.

- Office Depot Pencil Pillows (.99$) as padding on the holder itself.
- Home Depot HeatShrink Tubing (.99$) as initial layer of padding on the hanger to prevent scratches and paint chips off the headphone headband.

Here it is in action!

REMEMBER!
You need to bend the hanger itself back a little bit! With C, it is really easy. Just bend back on the soldered joint.... do it in-store, too. That way, if it breaks, just pick up the next one on the shelf.

This has become a real mcguyver type thread with all this improvisation. I have stand 'B' and you can bend the hook just like 'C' so its parallel to the table, then it doesnt seem to dig into the headband so much. I've been trying to find replacement neoprene tubing, like on my guitar stand, but haven't found anything yet. The pencil pillows look like a good idea though. I'm not sure how you're putting the heat shrink tubing on though.
